Flash Back to Childhood

I can not tell you how much I am in love with www.hulu.com. I have been spending way to much time on it. The most enjoyable part of my obsession is getting in touch with my childhood. Even as a small child I love movies and T.V. I remember early on watching The Secret Garden and The Last Unicorn. It was just part of my life. And with this was my child hood crush with Dr. Doogie Howser. I have to admit, I was in love with him. Since stumbling on hulu.com I have caught up with my favorite 16 year old doctor. Enjoy the pilot episode. And seriously check this website out, you will get addicted to it as much as I am.

My Thoughts

So today was awesome...I had the day off. Every since watching a movie called the Jane Austen Book Club, I am determined to read all of Jane Austen's Books. I have already read Northanger Abbey and now I am finishing up with Persuasion. I love Persuasion. It is such a haunting story. you watch as Ann comes out of her depression and into the light. The story is about this couple Ann Elliot and Capt. Wentworth. They were engaged and then Ann's friend persuades her not to marry him because he has no money and no family to "recommend him". Eight years later they are thrown together. Capt. Wentworth is not very happy with Ann and treats her horribly, completely ignoring her. And the story follows them as the rekindle their love. I know Jane Austen is well known for Pride and Prejudice, but if you have not read or seen this movie, give it a chance. You will fall in love with her just as you did with Elizabeth Bennett.

Rantings 2008

So yes i am in a ranting mode. I was watching a talk show a while ago and they where doing a special on celebrities biggest fans. Surprisingly one of the biggest fans was for the singer Josh Groban. Now the interesting thing about this lucky big fan was that she was around 40 years old. Now how do we know that she is a biggest fan, she has a tattoo of Josh Groban on her arm. I don't know maybe it is just me but I did not know that Josh Groban's fan basis included 40 year old tattooed women. If I was Mr. Groban I would be a little freaked out. I for one would be very alarmed to have my face plastered on another persons body for all eternity. yeah Freaky. Moving on to the next rant. Two TV shows that unfortunately died too soon because nobody would watch them. Isn't that what always happens. No 1. Veronica Mars. This was a very sad death for me. I know I am 25 years old but dang it why couldn't I be like her in High School. Don't think I am some crazed person with her Veronica Mars tattooed on my body. To be able to come up with such witty comebacks would be so awesome. Then add on solving crimes..double awesome. No 2 Arrested Development. Whey people did you not watch this show. It is by far on of the funniest shows to ever reach TV. To Gob continual quest to get on good graces of the Magic Alliance, to George Michael's light saber extravaganza in the garage, to Tobias's dream of joining the Blue Man Group...it doesn't get better than this. The last rant is regarding promising new shows. Two are on my radar. Aliens in America and Reaper. People we cannot let these two shows die. Please watch them. Anyways that is pretty much all I have in me. I am ranted out. :)

In the World

I have just been watching way to much The O.C. lately. I got the entire series for Christmas and I just now finished it. My grandpa passed away and I guess watching it has been my way of coping. It is something to just watch movie and get lost in them. You don't have to think about your life and you get just drift away. I have been thinking about that lately. Now I am not going all suicidal or anything, but to just drift away. The thoughts "When is my real life going to start." Keep coming to my mind. There is entire world out there that I have never experience and I keep wondering what am I afraid of. I know that somewhere out there I can start something and be something but the actual doing of that scares the heck out of me.

Merry Christmas

Yes it is finally Christmas. It is about 2am and I am sitting here not able to fall asleep. Working the night shift really isn't fun when you don't have to work. I seriously have been trying to fall asleep for the longest time and it is not working. It took me forever to get used to get use to this schedule and now when things are different it is hard. I have no idea what is in store for tomorrow. My parents always get use perfume and such every year. Well this is year when I was asked what kind I would like, I informed my parents that I wanted Shania Twain Perfume from Walmart. Yep that is right. Of all the thousands of wonderful smells out there the one that I really love is a Walmart Special. Now I am not saying anything about this wonderful perfume cuz I like it. But my parents spent so much more on my siblings perfume ($75.00 on one) that I seriously bust up laughing to think that they spent $20.00 on me. Anyways we will see what is instore for us tomorrow. I thought I would post a picture of our trip to disneyworld.

My New Blog

Okay so I am finally a blogger. In a world of millions of bloggers out there nobody will probably read this, that's okay. I am sure I probably am not that interesting. :) So update for today. I spent the entire day setting up a new desk and chair. Yep I did it all by myself. It looks great. I didn't have to work today so it was a day away from the airlines. I peaceful day at that. I did spend the day watching random movies. Tonight the showing is Mr. Beans Christmas and Are we Done yet? Great entertainment I might add. It is funny how so many movies yet set aside because they are not thought provoking. I know I know Mr. Bean is not going to come up with the way to end war, but there is something about them that clears all the thought process out of me and I can just sit and not worry about anything. It is kind of fun. Anyways that is about all I have but keep watching for more thought provoking blogs. :)
